Hey Jake and Jess!
When will you come to Thailand? We might be still there, would be nice to meet again!
I've just read stories about Bangkok's slum community by father joe maier and really liked it. www.fatherjoe.org They are caring for HIV orphans, children at risk, general education programmes etc.
Hey Jessica, happy birthday to you!! - too late, but with love :-)

hey friends...
I'm going to Uganda in May with campus house after all. i'm finally putting the first stamp in my passport, and i thought you all of people would be the most pleased with that decision. i only wished it was going to be more than two weeks, but, it's a start. i cannot wait to go.

My neice is in Thailand with the Peace Corp. I could send you her email- she only has limited access though. She is teaching in a village in the north- about an 11 hour bus ride from Bangkok...Ben was there in December. He said a good place to stay and meeting point is at the KT Guest House in Bangkok- many native missionaries come and stay there for a break or en route.
We'll be checking regularly to see where you end up :-) Love ya,
Lynn and Ben
