My husband and I are sneaking away for a couple days...

We'll be in touch soon.

Maybe...

While we are gone, you have an assignment. Check out this photo and make up your own version of what is going on. When we get back we will post the real story.

call me fantasy-minded, but one of the first things it made me think of was something out of peter pan. that those two boys were just sitting, hanging out with tinkerbell. whatever the real story, though, it's an absolutely precious picture - almost to the point where words would diminish its pricelessness. or maybe it's just me. ok, i'm done babbling now (i seem to be doing that alot in my life lately); i hope you n' jake had a fabulous time getting away. much love to you both!

It is an amazing picture, as are all of those you post. The first thing that came to my mind was keeping watch over the body of a loved one while waiting for the burial. I have to admit, though, I like the idea of Tinkerbell a little better!
I am so, so glad to hear that you are 'sneaking away' together. May Christ be refreshing your spirits and uniting your hearts ever closer. I pray that He will stir up any things between you that need to be dealt with and also allow you to bask in the pure undeserved blessing of your love.
love to both of you,
beth

and Isaac (who says: "when is Jexica coming to our house?")

Hey there guys. It's been a while. Nice picture. I think it's people lighting a candle at a shrine along the road to pray for someone or something. It looks kind of like the ones in Mexico. Hope you have fun on your little escape!

I hope you both have a wonderful time away and that your spirits are renewed with love from God and each other. Your task is great, but the power given to your from God is more than enough to meet those demands - just keep trusting, obeying, loving and serving...

Ok the picture...

Young souls surrounded by darkness looking to the light trying to find meaning in life and death. Wondering what the purpose of life really is...

Love ya,

Robin

I showed the picture to Joshua and asked him what it was and he said, "I don't know." Then he said wait it where baby Jesus is."

Following Robin's example, I asked Isaac (almost 3 years) what he thought it was. I don't know how old Joshua is, but he is a little more adept at image interpretation because Isaac's response was: "Elephant...or no, maybe they are working on something because somebody is sleeping and they need to make it more light." Then after the picture was not in front of him anymore, he was insisting it was a parrot!! I may just have to have him leave posts for you in response to all of the pictures you put up so we can work on this apparent deficiency! He is sick....maybe his eyes are blurry!
Love to you both,
Beth

Hi Beth,

Joshua is a fresh 4 year old. He usually comes up with interesting stories, so I was surprised that is was so short.
